Shopping Online - The Experience

Before I entered university, I do not have the privilege to have my own bank account or to even own a credit card. Hence, I was dependent on my parents to bring me out shopping. We used to carry bags and bags of our reap under the hot sun.

Once I entered university, the freedom is all mine. I have my own bank accounts and I love electronic banking. My first experience buying online was booking my flight to Kuching. My friends and I stayed up late in front of the laptops and booked our flight tickets immediately the clock struck 12am on the first day of promotion.

Time passed and I have encounter with many online shopping opportunities. Blog shops and services that only received only bookings started mushrooming in Malaysia.

After reading many forum postings commented on successfully selling and buying unwanted extra items at reasonable prices on Lelong.my I decided to check them out myself.

The deals were hard to believe. As I have also heard countless stories of people falling into various online buying scams, I refrain myself from purchasing anything online.

I liked Lelong.my on facebook to read about the comments from various buyers. One day I read through my news feed and noticed that Lelong.my has Superbid every Wednesday. Like their tagline, Superbid makes me go crazy every Wednesday with bid start at RM1!

This is how it works: Every Wednesday, selected items will be put up for members to bid by just clicking the "Bid Now" button and successful bidder will be notify by email.

Liked Lelong.my on facebook is the biggest mistake in my life. The deals were even harder to believe. Week by week passed by and I have seen many people bid items and purchased at a very affordable low price.

Since the internet connection in my hostel is very slow, I immediately set up 'My Comfort Zone' with soft drinks and popcorns to have better connection to bid the items.

Shopping did not went smoothly at first. I missed few bids because of the slow internet connection and my hesitation. Eventually I learned from experience and managed to bid for two lomo cameras at market almost half price and this was my first purchase here on SuperBid. Payment was done by using Cimb Clicks.

Few days after payment, I received the items in the mail.

I was jumping for joy as I have purchased this items at a very good price.
