My awkward moment

I have never experience loving someone special in my life for the past twenty-two years. It makes me fell dejected whenever I see friends showing off their love stories through social media. Life took a turn when I get to know a girl at university named C.

It started when we took a same subject during my second semester. We never get to know each other as she was one year my senior. During my second year, she became the only person I could share my problems with during the ride in the university's bus as my friends drifted away from me when I switched from taking Pure Chemistry to Chemical Engineering.

Every morning, I would wait for the bus at 8am to coincide with her and we would start with casual chats during the 15 minutes ride. Most of the time I would speak of my own personal problems and she will listen attentively and provides me with solutions. This went on for two semester and always put a smile back on my face after sharing my problems with her.

I had an extra ticket when Maroon 5 performed live in Malaysia. I tried to invite her along as she had indicated her interest in attending music concerts. To my dismay, she rejected me with the excuse of having lots of assignments to hand up at the end of the week. I accepted her excuse and even sold off my pair of tickets in disappointment.

This was my most awkward moment in my life as I never have the courage to ask a girl out on a date. Though we are still occasionally chat on facebook, I still few shy to face her and board the earliest bus in order not to bump onto her in campus. From this incident, I have learnt to be smart in my next attempt to chase after a girl by waiting for the right opportunity before all the efforts put in previously were ruined.

Shopping Online - The Experience

Before I entered university, I do not have the privilege to have my own bank account or to even own a credit card. Hence, I was dependent on my parents to bring me out shopping. We used to carry bags and bags of our reap under the hot sun.

Once I entered university, the freedom is all mine. I have my own bank accounts and I love electronic banking. My first experience buying online was booking my flight to Kuching. My friends and I stayed up late in front of the laptops and booked our flight tickets immediately the clock struck 12am on the first day of promotion.

3. Why I love Lady Gaga? I love the way she present herself to others. Her sense of fashion and music is very provocative to stimulate attentions from the public. Remember her wearing an all meat outfit supplemented by purse, boots and a hat during 2010 MTV Video Music Awards? That incident stunt everyone and even made it as Time magazine's Fashion Statement of 2010. Bad Romance was stuck in my mind like forever after listening to it once due to its catchy tunes and robotic dance steps. Another of my favourite song is Judas which might sound a bit controversial but I must admit it is a brave effort from her.



Hopefully Lady Gaga will land on Malaysia one day for a full blast concert.

What does 'Selangor Has More'? The answer is me! I was born and raised in Puchong, Selangor. (Put this aside, lets get into serious business)

Being a true breed of Selangor, there are many interesting places and mouth-watering dishes to show others what 'Selangor Has More'. Each demontrates the uniqueness of the people in Selangor.

Lets start with places to go.

Batu Caves

Batu Caves is located in Sentul. Scaling up the 272 steps of stairs is not an easy task. There are 3 big caves with Hindu shrines located in the main cave. To get there, you just need to board on KTM Komuter train and stop at Batu Caves station. The cave is waliking distance from the station.

Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple

Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen temple is located in Jenjarom. It will be decorated differently every year during Chinese New Year and it is a definite place to visit with the rich flora and fauna.

Royal Selangor Plant

Royal Selangor produce sourvenirs made of pewters. The gallery is open to public for visit and to learn more about the production process.

i-City Shah Alam

i-City is a commercial hub installed with millions of LEDs with different theme that looks like a colourful forest.

Next the food.

Kajang satay

Kajang satay is a must have in Selangor. The juicy and tender meat is barbeque till perfection accompany by peanut sauce and condiments such as cucumber and onions.
